As soon as chocolate is in the air, cacao beans

As soon as chocolate is in the air, cacao beans are boiled to remove the cocoa powder from the liquid. When they have cooled, the cocoa butter is used to create a chocolate bar. In many parts of the world today, chocolate is a main ingredient in chocolate bars. But to find cocoa butter in South America, the researchers used a technique known as "in-situ extraction", in which tiny pieces of cocoa wax are used to form an almost-liquid consistency in the air.

The researchers found that, like other components of the cocoa-rich chocolate, the chocolate from Chile, Argentina, and the other islands of the Andes was first cultivated in the Americas. They found that the original chocolate from the Aztecs and Mayans in Bolivia was first made from coca beans.

The researchers say that they used this method to date the cocoa butter beans found in South American cacao. The researchers hope that the new study will allow researchers to explore chocolate's role in the food chain and the world's food history.

The researchers also note that the research has implications for other animal products (including meat, fish, eggs, and many nuts).

"It is conceivable that chocolate could have a role in a range of animal products that we know about today," Blake says. "But no one knows all of the possible uses for chocolate, and we can't predict how they will play out in our lifetimes."

The study was funded by the National Science Foundation, the Center for Biological Diversity, and the Natural History Museum."They're the kind of people that want to create a new paradigm for government," said Michael Gerson, a professor at the University of Texas School of Law and political scientist at the Center for Constitutional Rights.
