"Google's smartwatch technology has been around for a long time

"Google's smartwatch technology has been around for a long time and has been a long way from being ready. We are thrilled to have Fossil join the Fossil Group. I am confident that this partnership will allow us to further innovate and improve our brands. As we continue building for the future, Fossil will continue to enhance its research and development team and continue to push further forward in its efforts to make wearables more accessible and smart. We are particularly excited to see Fossil and Fossil's partnership as partners of choice for wearable computing."

The deal is not the only Fossil deal to be announced. In the past, Fossil has made partnerships with Samsung and Adidas to push the boundaries of wearable computing. When Nike bought its first wearable at CES, the company announced that it was investing $100 million in a partnership with Apple.

Law enforcement sources confirmed that the ex-cop, David L. Wieder, was arrested for his role in the alleged prostitution of two young women.

Wieder was recently charged with two felonies under the federal Uniform Crime Reports Act.

The ex-cop's wife says she was not allowed to see her husband's laptop while he was arrested, or that he had to use the bathroom while on vacation.

According to local station WCBS, the ex-cop had a girlfriend named Mary Ann Wieder, who went by the name "Polly".

She was reportedly in town for a tour.

Wieder was arrested and charged with solicitation of prostitution, second degree solicitation for prostitution, and the sexual exploitation of children with intent to make a sexual act.

Wieder denies any wrongdoing, and he is facing a life sentence if convicted.

The ex-cop was originally charged with felony possession of child pornography and two counts of sex trafficking. He has been placed on supervised release pending further investigation.

Wieder's wife, Mary Ann Wieder, told ABC News that while she has never seen her husband, he is a good guy and that all she has seen about the ex-cop was how he treated her.

"I really believe in him and that he is a good guy,
