Prime members can also use their Prime Now account to order groceries online, as they did when they signed up for the service in 2011. The company, which launched its Prime Now service, is currently taking steps to improve its service, including increasing the amount of grocery and retail items that customers can order in bulk and increasing the price of items purchased from Whole Foods.

For those who might not be familiar with the Prime Now perk, the service allows Amazon to collect sales tax to help pay for the processing of deliveries. When grocery products are ordered online, Amazon takes a larger fee to complete each purchase, but those fees can be adjusted in the future. Whole Foods also has a rebate program where members can get a rebate on some of their purchases, making it easy to buy groceries from Whole Foods.

The service allows customers to purchase products in bulk or at less than $30, and can be used on select purchases for up to six months. For those who don't already have a Prime account, the perk works just like its regular grocery credit. The perks are offered by Whole Foods and can vary from store to store, but most will be available on select deliveries starting in the first quarter of next year.
