The US is no more immune to the danger of nuclear war than any other nation. The US has been accused of engaging in the worst sort of terrorist behavior, with an appalling degree of military and financial cost. Our military is not the most powerful in the world. Yet, it is almost certainly the world's most dangerous. And it is no wonder that we have so far failed to come up with a good way to handle this threat: military. The current US military is not the world's most powerful. Its power is in many respects more than that of any other nation.
