The video posted by Chris Wesselman, a YouTube contributor who posts the video, was released on Friday by the police and police services in New Zealand. YouTube had been providing its own platform for the footage.

Wesselman said he had made videos of himself at different times during his rampage. YouTube said it had received no complaints about the video.

He was detained by the police in New Zealand after the shooting, and he will appear in court on Wednesday.

Police said the video had been released after the police made a public complaint about it's distribution to a New Zealand-based video-sharing site, Reddit.com. "We have received numerous reports of this video being distributed on Reddit and YouTube as well," said New Zealand Police Acting Commissioner Nick Hopkinson.

In a statement, police spokesperson Paul Farr said they were "extremely concerned" about the distribution of content from Reddit and had asked Reddit to clarify its policies on the use of the video. Reddit did not immediately respond to a request for comment, but its parent company, YouTube, said it's "very disappointed" that Reddit is "making such an effort to control the use of this video."

"We are taking this very, very seriously and are providing our support to all the victims of this horrific attack. We will continue to cooperate with law enforcement and in this process we will see what we can do to help."

The video shows the aftermath of the attack. It begins with a shot of the shooter shooting a car.

It includes a description of a person wearing a headscarf and pointing a gun at the shooter.

It ends with the video of the shooter shooting another person.

One of the victims is the man who was killed in the attack, according to police.

He is described as being in his early 20s and was wearing a black shirt, dark glasses and jeans, police said.

"He was standing at the edge of the road when he heard what sounded like a gunshot and thought it was an attack," Hopkinson said.

"This sounds like a large-scale terrorist attack that will come down in New Zealand."

Another man in the video is described as a bald man and carrying a black hat and a white mask.

One of the men in the video is described as being in his late 20s and wearing a black beard and a black shirt. The other person in the video is described as being in his 30s, with
