When asked why it comes with an Nvidia GPU, a spokesperson for Blackmagic explained to MacRumors that their product will be compatible with any Mac. And, since the device will use the standard AMD Polaris architecture, you'll be able to use that GPU.

If you want to test out the Blackmagic Design eGPU for yourself, don't miss out on the latest update.A U.S. Army soldier has been charged with raping and beating a teenage girl in his barracks at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

Army Staff Sgt. Eric T. Anderson, 25, faces nine charges including assault with intent to commit rape and kidnapping.

The case began when an Army Special Operations Forces member noticed a young girl in the barracks in the early 2000s, after she was "troubled" by her former boyfriend, who was leaving the base in the early 2000s. The soldier, who spoke to NBC News, said he then "got the girl," who was 17, out of a bedroom and "stung by a small amount of urine."

The girl was taken to a hospital where treatment for her injuries was performed.

After Anderson's arrest, his unit was called in with a team of doctors and nurses.

According to Sgt. Eric T. Anderson, the girl, who remains unidentified at this time, was "very upset and hurt."

Anderson, who has served as a Fort Bragg Fire Chief for 15 years, told NBC "he's never seen anything like this" in his 18 years in the Army.

"I'm sure from the moment I got here, it was never a good thing," he said. "I felt like it was my responsibility to protect my girl."

Anderson, who served in Iraq and Afghanistan, is an honor student at the University of Michigan, and he said he's been in touch with his mother since the incident. He described the girl as "beautiful," who told him he loved her.

"I'm so happy she's okay," he said. "I really have no idea what happened that day."

T. Anderson served in Iraq and Afghanistan, and he also served as a Marine Special Operations Forces officer in the 9th Ranger Regiment. He spent time at the base in the early 1990s.
