Apple is seeking a halt to its iPhone sales in China because the company has a patent infringement case with a Chinese company that was brought by Apple and the government in the late '90s; Apple is seeking to halt sales of the iPhone 8 because of a patent infringement case with China's Chinese company that was brought by Apple and the government in the late '90s; and a court in China blocked a Chinese Apple product because Apple failed to provide the correct documentation of its iPhone 6 Plus certification.

The ruling is the latest in a series of patent cases that Apple has already filed in the country. Earlier this year, the judge in China's supreme court ruled that the Chinese government has infringed on Apple's patents by using an off-patent "inherently flawed" design for the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. And in September, the Supreme Commission for International Trade ruled that Apple can continue to sell iPhones without infringing on Chinese patents because it also sells them in China and also in other countries.From Team Fortress Wiki
