Ehrlich said that her office was working hard to get a bill passed by the state Senate that would stop the abuse of noncompete agreements in the state. But that bill is on hold.

"We're still working through the details and we don't have any progress yet," Ehrlich said.

The Massachusetts Supreme Court ruled in May on an injunction filed by the National Labor Relations Board of Massachusetts and other state agencies to halt noncompete agreements, and has been working on getting it overturned. The ruling comes after a lawsuit by six state unions, including the National Labor Relations Board of Massachusetts, was brought before the court last month.On April 1, the Democratic National Convention is underway in Charlotte, North Carolina, and the Democratic National Convention is underway in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
