In the first round of Reddit posts, Sweeney also noted

In the first round of Reddit posts, Sweeney also noted that he had a "strong interest" in the Epic game store and that the developer was "using the platform to make the games that people care about, not just to sell them, but to make good money." The post also pointed to similar claims made by other companies, including Valve, Oculus and Microsoft, that they may have access to data on users in China.

As the post continues, Sweeney also points out that the user experience of the game store is "not completely free" and that a system of monitoring and tracking on Epic's servers could have been developed in China. The post also reveals that the Epic developer has been linked to a "Chinese hacker" who "has access to personal information of over 10 million people."

It's also worth mentioning that the "fake news" that has been spreading about the game store has been linked to "a series of Chinese online games companies" that it apparently has received "from outside China."

The post also highlights that the game store is owned by Tencent, a company that recently bought the exclusive rights to the Tencent game. Tencent was involved in a major campaign against the game store in China, and the user-generated content, which many say is heavily influenced by Tencent's corporate brand, is also used by Tencent's games.

According to the post, "Ten-tan-tao.com is the main Chinese affiliate of Epic Games. A very important part of their business is their business in games, so it was important for the company to know the full history of the company and the history of Tencent. They have an affiliation with Tencent, and a great deal of interest in Chinese gaming as well as in their games."

The post also lists Tencent's official title, and asks if the company had ever offered "insights & analysis" regarding "games that people care about, not just to sell them."
