There are many things that this game doesn't do well, however. The biggest problem I have with some of its elements is in its use of the "snowball mode." This is an oft-requested feature of its games, but its lack of a mode lets it get away with using the same mechanics across a variety of settings. The lack of snowballs and other "skills" is a real problem, and so is the lack of a mode that allows the player to take part in a game in a "simplified" fashion.
That is the problem the game presents itself in its "snowball mode." It doesn't allow for the player to "choose one skill to be used" in the game, as some popular games are. Instead, the player must choose a class and experience level to "work" in. A "simplified" story is the only thing that can be told for the sake of it.
That's one of the reasons why I think the game has a lot of problems with "simplification." The main problem is that the player often takes a time out of their day to really study the game. Instead of learning "what's important," they spend most of their day on "how to make a game."
So is there any point in allowing for a mode of "simplification" when the main goal of the game is to make the player feel like a "real" player? I don't know. But the problem with "simplification" is that it makes the game seem like a "real" game, and so it feels like the main goal is to create a sense of realism.
What is a "real" game? It's about not having to do very much thinking, planning, or planning for any given situation. It's about feeling good about yourself, and what you can accomplish. It's about feeling positive about yourself, and making the world look like a real place.
You can think of all of that as a "real" game, but it's only in the context of some of the world's actions and choices. In other words, you can't do very much because the world is going to give you the feeling you're supposed to feel about it. There's only so much one person can think about, and so you can't do much for them. This is not how things work in real life.
