Today, a few people have reported the same problem to Myspace's servers that day. Some of the files have been recovered, but are waiting for a third party to fix them. Others appear to have been deleted, with the message "Sorry for your loss of files."

Myspace has since removed all of its users from the network, and its servers are no longer using them. But a new report from The Verge shows that it is using the same data to send music to the world at large, including to hundreds or thousands of song enthusiasts.

Although the data from the Myspace servers are not 100 percent correct, the reports of issues that are still being reported are consistent with a system update recently in place. The update allows users to download songs from their local music sites, and Myspace has been working to restore the music to its servers.

Myspace still has no comment on the issues, and the service has not acknowledged any such reports.

The Verge reports that Myspace has been trying to figure out if there was any other way to access music on the Myspace servers for years, and it says that it's only been able to do so for about three years now. Myspace says that in the meantime, users who are interested in sharing online music might consider downloading an app that lets them download music from the service, in addition to their traditional downloads.

Myspace also has a new song on its servers. The new song is called "I Got Your Back," and it's an album from Myspace's acclaimed, award-winning original project, "Myspace," which has garnered an international following in the past.
